While atttending my first NASCAR race in Bristol, Tennessee, I was introduced to my first Corn Hole game. They even had a National Tournament going on. We never registered for the tourney, but we wagered on who cooked dinner at night. I spent a lot of time cooking that weekend, but have won many times since.

Our neighbor introduced us to it and it has now become the rage of the neighborhood. Great game. Everyone plays, guys, girls, kids. I built my own boards and now everyone else is too! Different designs staining, painting. I was even cornhole on Halloween with different boards that changed as the night progressed. Interesting adult theme saved for last. Got to get it.

I got introduced to cornhole when I was tailgating at an NFL game. It seemed to be pretty popular because half the people around me were playing. Over the course of the season I started to get in on a few games and by the end of the year I ended up building my own and taking it with me.

I saw this game being played at my husbands Family Reunion in NC, and feel in love with it, Now I want one for my family, but they seem to be too expensive for us with the economy being the way it is, and me being laid off and only 1 income now…… I Thank God that we at least have that everyday!!

If anyone would have told me 8 years agio that my vacuum was going to give me as much trouble as it has, I never ever would have bought it. But, it is a Sears model and Sears has always had a good name, hasn’t it?

My vacuum is a 12amp canister vacuum with a detatchable powerhead. I have hard surface floors with a few scatter mats and carpet in the childrens’ bedrooms. I love to clean deeply and I figured a canister would give me more power than an upright. So, off we went to Sears and bought what we thought was a good, solid, middle of the road Kenmore model.

First problem – the brushes wore down. We had to replace the brushes at least twice, and of course, the model is no longer carried so we had to jerry-rig another one to make it fit. Then, the plastic handle broke and it is now held together with duct tape and a prayer. Then, the headlight burned out and there are no others that fit. Then, the on-board tools just came loose in their slots and really don’t stick at all.

To top it all off, the retraction is broken on the electrical cord. We did not get a good deal on this machine. I think, for the money, this was a total loss. The next model up has a heap filter, a metal strip around the handle, and toolds that go into a hatch. There would be several problems taken care of.

However, that model was $100 more and we could not afford it at the time. There used to be a time we could trust Sears name and their service. This vacuum has caused me to doubt that, so in the further, I know I will need to pay more attention to reliable vacuum cleaner ratings.

Doesn’t matter how rich you are. We all need to know certain money saving tips that can help us in saving our money. We all are seeking help from various sources. Some of the tips that you can follow for saving money are discussed below. Read further to find out.

Begin your task first by saving some small part of your money. According to various successful investors, you need not to dream big for investing. You are just required to save your small amount of money first. Let’s begin from saving 5 to 10 percent of your total income. Just deposit it in an account that could fetch interest on it. You can also go for accumulating money into retirement account. You can ask your employer or workplace to contribute by matching funds to any employment plan under your name. Such plans are very useful and can help you a lot in saving money.

Self discipline can also bring fruitful results in this case. You need to be disciplined and punctual. Just adhere yourself that you won’t take out money from the pre-set limit. This will control the amount of money that you withdraw from ATMs. You should clear up your house and car loans as soon as possible. These rates and interest keep on accumulating. And at last, you are on left with huge lump of money that needs to be cleared within a time limit and tasks appear as impossible.

By keeping such simple tips in mind, we all can easily solve our financial problems and also can save some part of our money.

One of the money savings method I used to do was by reducing electricity consumption. I used to switch off all the electronic equipment especially referigerators, motor etc. after 6′o clock in the evening and by doing that i am saving 20-30 % of electricity bill.

Another one is by reducing the number of tours as well as picnics, why because we are totally uncontrolled about the expenses when we are in a tour. If you are having a car or byke, avoid travelling continuously as the fuel price is increasing day by day; instead I prefer public transportation so that I can save a lot of money from than.

One of the important money saving tips is by reducing purchase using credit cards, because you will not be aware of spendings using credit card. Avoid attending all the parties except the important ones, why because you should take a gift every time which affect the total expenses for the month. In my company all the workers are having a provident fund account, so that without their knowledge an equal amount of money will be saved in the account every month. I am now working in a research institute and i am getting a decent salary. Additionally I am also doing a part time job as a data entry processor.

Usually it takes 2-3 hours daily, the additional income generated from this cater to additional needs. I use internet for my study purpose instead of buying books, thereby allowing me to save money.

As a manage of a self storage facility in California I am no stranger to wasps; and through this occupation I’ve learned a few things about them. First, they are attracted to propane, so I ask all my customers if they can put their tanks inside their RV’s or take them home with them. Also, its a good thing to keep in mind that wasps are attracted to protein based baits (food) in the spring and early summer, and sugary foods in the late summer and fall.

For the few customers who chose to leave their tanks, and for the random nests which will inevitably pop up, I use very simple wasp traps. My traps are homemade, easy to make, and are effective. You take an empty two liter plastic soda container, and cut the top off just above the shoulder (not quite a quarter way down). Invert the top so that it is now inside the rest of the bottle, tape into place. Put a little jam or meat (depending on time of year) on the rim of the spout to attract the wasps. Fill the bottle about a third the way full with water, and add just a tad of dish soap to hasten the demise, and prevent the wasps from being able to climb out. The wasps find it very easy to enter but pretty impossible to exit. If you have trouble with bees entering your traps, you can add vinegar to the water which will keep the bees out.

I think in order to save money it’s not important to earn a lot of money but rather very important to closely watch where you are spending all your money.

Most of us think that we need a lot of things in order to survive such as great food, good clothes, latest gadgets and so on. The most important tip would be to differentiate what you really “”need”" and what you just “”want”". Food is something you need to survive but the latest i-phone 4-G is really just a “”want”".

I went through the same phase where in I just didn’t understand where all my money was going. I started off by writing down all my expenses everyday. It’s a very easy habit and really helps you realize what you are doing with your own Money. You might be surprised!

I started mainly by cutting down on eating out every single day; you will be amazed how much Lavish meals can cost and how much just taking a lunch box everyday could help you save! Watch how many credit you owe, if you only make minimum payment, banks might be charging you a heavy fee. Paying your balance completely every month would save you the extra Fees. Buy Items from Grocery Stores when they are on Sale in Bulk. Remember you don’t need to be that Crazy Coupon Person but it doesn’t harm to just look when you might get a really good bargain and if you do happen to have a coupon, well, dont be afraid to use it!

Be very careful when stores declare sale on clothings. A lot of times, good articles might not be on sale and you might end up spending more than what you originally planned, so try and differentiate between whats really a bargain or whats just out there to trap you! Try getting benefits of the Cash Back offers which credit card companies have and earn points, definitely avoid spending large amounts of cash. Why not use those points when you can? Avoid booking last minute flight reservations, trips, book them ahead of time to avoid last minute exorbitant hotel & flight fees.

Try these simple tips and you will be amazed! Happy spending oops, I meant Saving!!!

When I was faced with the reality of having a child I realized that I was going to have to crunch numbers. Being a young woman with a baby I had to manage looking my best to keep my job as a hostess at a lounge and afford diapers and clothes as well.

Initially, I was struggling, I began to save 5 dollars a week whenever I could and saved all of my loose change in a piggy bank. Occasionally that money was used in case of emergency like I needed a metro card or the baby needed wipes. I shop off season and with coupons. Jackets can be as much as 60-70% off at any successful retail store come March, and the same goes for boots. You can buy warm gloves and hats for a dollar a piece. Luckily my daughter grows according to her actual expected size, buying clothes for the next year is made easy. On $200 dollars my daughters entire wardrobe from pajamas to sneakers is purchased in one shot.

Make-up is hard to get on a bargain, but when I signed up with my cvs card they ended up sending me coupons for up to 25% via my email account. Every time I stop at a cvs or a duane read I make a stop at their coupon center where you can immediately print out daily promotions. Occasionally I hit it big.

Also I cut back on my expenses by purchasing a phone that does not have internet, and I don’t pay for cable or a home phone. I keep a phone plugged in at my house because you don’t need service to dial 911 and keep my cell phone for all my other calls. I pay only for digital internet and Netflix eliminating the cable bill. Anything can be found for free on the internet if you know where to looks, making cable no longer a necessity. I buy movies on discount to keep me and my daughter entertained if for whatever reason the internet is down.

Although it isn’t much my little cut backs have allowed me to live my life virtually debt free. I have no worries and luckily I qualify for financial aid allowing me to go to college. My final and my expensive purchase was a tablet, allowing me to download cheaper and lighter versions of my text books for college.

I first learned of the game cornhole as a young child, my uncles and grand father often played it at family barbecues. I have very fond memories from those times we all spent together. There was always a bonfire, marshmallows, stories of times gone by and a good game of cornhole.

Now that I am older it’s my turn, my cousins and I often throw the same kinds of get togethers as our parents did before and now our kids are running around listening to those stories and being surrounded by family and friends and good southern food. These are the things that lasting memories are built on, these are the ways in which we connect with those that we care about.

Cornhole is more than just a game it’s a way to let loose and spend time with people you enjoy being around and care about. Anyone can pick up a beanbag or washer and pitch it in a hole but throwing style and glory only come to the cornhole king or queen.

The truth is savings can be found anywhere. Online, in the newspaper, coupons from your grocer, subscribing to a newsletter –everywhere!

While I like to order out food a lot, I enjoy savings more. Fast food restaurants, along with most restaurants usually provide you with information to fill out a survey regarding their services on their receipts. Upon completion of the survey you can receive free entrees, food or a discount for your next visit. I was skeptical at first, but I gave it a try. After completing my survey I
received a code in the end to write down on my receipt. I took it to the restaurant and received my discount!

Other ways to save are catching the deals that happen all the time online! Subscribe to as many stores you know you shop at to receive their newsletters! These prove to be very handy when you are shopping on a budget. I receive 30% off coupons from CVS also news letting me know when stores are having their great sales! Sometimes you are too busy to search for deals and the newsletters really help when you don’t have the time to search the web.

I also find purchasing items such as electronics, gifts for the holidays or any occasion can be worth the purchase. Stores online always have coupon codes that can make your purchase much cheaper than purchasing the item at the actual store. Some stores give you the discount for purchasing online and allow you to pick up the item up at the store!

I’ve earned free large pizza’s from ordering my pizza online from Papa John’s Pizza! I received free ice cream from Dairy Queen’s and also free DVD rentals from Redbox.com!

So take the extra time to sign up to newsletters, become a member of your favorite website and buy online! Take a short survey here and there and enjoy that free item. You deserve it because nothing beats a deal like FREE!

These days, money is tight all over, and it seems as if people have forgotten how to make wise choices and save their pennies.

1. Put on a sweater! In the winter-time, don’t blast your heat! Wear a sweater, snuggle up in a blanket in front of the fire. It’s winter-time. It’s supposed to be cold. Don’t insulate yourself entirely from the seasons!

2. Circulate your air! In summer, keep your thermostat at “cool” or just run one window air unit and use fans to circulate the cool air throughout your home. You’ll be surprised at how comfortable and money-saving this tactic is.

3. Support your local library! Don’t buy novels, movies, and books on CD that you will probably only use one time. Just borrow them from the library.

4. Choose your viewing carefully! Why pay an arm and a leg for 500 channels of “nothing to watch”? Use your TV as a movie machine with movies from your local library or services like NetFlix.

5. If you still have a VCR check your local thrift shop for video-tapes priced as low as a quarter or fifty cents each! They are usually in perfectly good condition, and this is a great way to build an at-home collection – especially of movies that kids love to watch over and over.

6. Learn to cook! You can save a fortune by eating at home. If you live alone, learning to cook interesting foods can be an enjoyable hobby, and you will be amazed by how much money you save when compared to restaurant dining. If you have a family, your whole family can enjoy time in the kitchen and around the table. Cooking and eating together at home is a great way to build family
bonds.

7. Cut your laundry expenses in half! Use half the amount of laundry detergent and fabric softener recommended on the bottle. Your clothes will turn out just fine, you’ll save a tidy little sum, and the environment will thank you.

8. Ride-Share! Don’t get stuck in traffic alone! Take along a few friends! Share the experience and the expense of commuting to work! It’s pocketbook and environmentally friendly.

9. Don’t shop hungry! No matter what you are shopping for, if you are hungry you will make impulsive decisions and buy more than you need.

10. Be prepared! When you go to the grocery store, take a detailed list and stick to it. You can write your list while you eat a meal before shopping!

11. Get the lowest car insurance possible! Every time you renew your car insurance, review possible deductions you may qualify for. There are lots of deductions you might never think of (like the good student deduction)! It pays to check!

12. Enjoy the great outdoors! We have acres and acres of national parks that we pay for with our taxes. Visit and support your local parks and marvel at the wonders of the earth that are given to us for free!
