I have been using coupons to make my grocery and household product purchases for the last six months and have come to a few conclusions about couponing and using resources online to make it better. Collecting coupons blindly can be time-consuming and almost always disorganized, but using the internet resources along with coupons saves time and energy better spent at the stores!

I like to start by making it a habit to grab my Sunday newspaper. Here, you don’t have to go get the biggest, most expensive newspaper in your town. If anything, look for the cheapest newspaper with Sunday coupons, and make sure to grab them at a newspaper vending machine. That way, you can always grab two or more copies of the newspaper (I know, it’s somewhat dishonest/rude, so I tend to wait until the end of the day Sunday to go hunt for Sunday newspapers that won’t be sold). Of course, it would be a great help to ask the local store clerk on Monday for coupons out of Sunday newspapers that they return.

Once you have your coupons from the Sunday papers, do nothing! Don’t even bother looking through them…they’ll only give you shopping impulses. Just make sure to write down the date of the Sunday newspaper on the front of the coupon and store them away.

I’m sure most people have certain grocery store or market chain that they go to regularly. Well, chances are, there are others who also frequent the same stores, and there might be (probably) some bloggers and writers online who post up sale specials for the week for any particular market chain (for me, it’s the local Ralph’s market and CVS pharmacies). These kind online helpers will help you pinpoint which coupon from which date to clip and bring to your favorite market for big time savings! Happy couponing!

The best ways to save money grocery shopping

The first way to save money, especially when you have not taken time to prepare before is to buy store and discount brands. It’s effective because you need not take time to prepare, only find the store brand. Usually they are a few cents or even a few dollars cheaper.

The next way is to get the store saving or reward cards and use it every time. Before going shopping, look at the stores site and see the things that are on sale. Go to the store and buy them because it’s easier to save and keep than to wait and buy them later when they are back at full price.

If you are willing to take more time, you can save even more. Clip coupons from newspapers, other products that come with them or even from online. The best way is to set a time, like the weekend where you will purpose to do this. At that time, search online, in newspapers and on items that you use. Set a limit, for example, you will not leave until you find a specified amount worth of coupons. Make sure that the stores you shop at will redeem the coupons. Sometimes stores will double manufactures coupons so keep a look out for those days and purpose to go shopping then. Remember to carry your coupons with you at all times. they are no use if you can’t redeem them, and you never know when you will need to stop by a store on your way home or to soccer practice or during a lunch break.

This tip applies only to some things. If they can keep for a long time, buy them in bulk, especially when they are on sale and you have the coupons for then. This usually works for dry good (flour, sugar, cereal, rice, grains) and also canned and preserved items. Sometimes, also for frozen stuff but you may need to repackage them into smaller portions in bags specifically made to prevent freezer burn. Find the best way to keep them to prevent them from spoiling. Keep the oldest ones closer to the front of the pantry so you use them first. If some of them are about to expire, throw a party or give them away so that they can be used rather than waiting for them to go to waste.

For the fresh produce, you can save by buying them in fresh markets or smaller stores like co-op stores or smaller stores. Make sure that the prices are actually lower by comparing them at different stores around you before actually buying. This goes for all grocery shopping. The store that is closest to you or the one that is on your way from work may not always have the best prices, even though it is convenient. Sometimes going a little out of your way may actually save you more green.

Hopefully some or all of these tips help. Remember, many of these can be combined to save you even more money. It will take time and effort to accomplish but after you get it into your routine; you will wonder how you did not do them before. And the green you save will definitely be a reward in itself.

I bought a Dyson DC25 Animal Vacuum about a year ago. I love this vacuum so much. Dyson is probably the best manufacturer of vacuums I’ve ever seen. I have had many different vacuums in the past and they have all been just okay at best.

I was looking for a new vacuum and started doing a lot of research because I was tired of getting the same old vacuums that were just decent. I really wanted something that would be very convenient and very good. I started looking online and reading about top vacuums and the Dyson really caught my eye. I was reading about there Animal style vacuum that has a HEPA Filter and an extra attachment to pick up Animal Hair. The Dyson has the Cyclone technology which will never lose suction, EVER! It really is an amazing vacuum. I finally wanted to see this vacuum in action so I went down to my local Bed Bath and Beyond where a very knowledgeable sales associate helped me. They let me take the model down off the rack and vacuum a rug that they had provided.

The Dyson really did suck up all the dirt very nicely and to empty the container was a breeze. You just lifted up the little trigger and it had a bag less compartment that you dumped into the trash and then put back onto the vacuum. The salesmen really talked up the HEPA filter to me making me realize how much dirt will NOT be in the air, especially affecting individuals with lots of allergies. I was sold on this vacuum. I knew this was going to be the best purchase I’d ever made. The only thing I dislike on the vacuum is that its very space aged and takes a minute to know where all the parts are. But once you get that all down its very nice. I would definitely recommend buying a Dyson Vacuum to anyone interested in buying a vacuum.

First of all this post is mainly dedicated to people who live outside United States and England. Why this? It’s simple, because I am about to tell the best place to buy books in all the ways with exception for these two countries because they have the great Amazon shops who can beat all the other shops with the free delivery but even Amazon can be beaten in some books. Very well, you want a name? Here it is, book depository. It’s where I buy all my books since a year ago and in terms of money we can save a lot buying there. The other shops don’t have chance and now I will give you the reasons.

First, the prices are the lowest in the world except as I said above sometimes Amazon has better prices but if you are not English or American Amazon shops are surpassed due to the tax rates. Second, it’s an online shop so you don’t spend time neither gasoline with your car to go to a physical shop in your country where the prices are higher, basically the package go directly to your house with free delivery (for all the planet) wherever you live. Finally, you can order 1000 thousand books in the same day that you won’t have to wait to the 1000 books are available to the package get dispatched which means if you are in a hurry for a book there’s no problem because one package means one book, summarizing this last point, if you order 1000 books you will get 1000 packages in your house. To finish my opinion you don’t have a problem if your book gets stuck, you just have to write to them and very quickly they will answer you and repay you or send other exemplar of the same book again, I can talk by experience. Absolutely no complaints against Book Depository, it’s a perfect shop for readers, give it a try and you will agree with me.

If you are looking for a way to improve concentration and work ethic in your office, a seemingly unlikely solution lies in water fountains. Water fountains encourage calm and quiet, while adding to the beauty of the work atmosphere.

If you’re looking for something specifically able to introduce a feeling of harmony and tranquility into your office, an indoor water fountain may be right for you. Many offices have incorporated these indoor water fountains into their modern offices. These water fountains can drown out background noise, which means that your office will sound quieter. And a quieter environment, of course, enables you and your employees to get more work done.

Peace and calmness will replace what was once noise after you install your new indoor water fountain. Stress and tension tends to build up inside corporate offices, but water fountains check this stress and alleviate it. There are so many indoor water fountains you choose from that you may have a difficult time narrowing your search down. You may wish to talk with your staff members about their preferences and needs, or you can simply begin browsing the many fountains available to you online.

Keep in mind the size of the fountain, the fountain type, where you will place the fountain, your budget, and your aesthetic tastes as you shop. These features will help you to choose a fountain you are happy with.

Many offices have so many people working in them that they become noisy, negatively impacting the collective stress level in the room. You may be searching for solutions to this stress level, especially if you value a sound mind a healthy body. The impacts of stress on the self are not good! Indoor water fountains help to keep the noise level down by replacing noise with the soothing sound of flowing water.

Anyone who walks into your office will feel a reduction in their anxiety and stress when they pay attention to your fountain. This stress will be replaced by harmony and tranquility. There are three basic types of indoor fountains which you may choose from. These three types are the table fountain, the floor fountain, and the wall fountain. Take a good look around your office and decide where the best place for your new fountain would be. Can you clear off some table space and put it there? How about a corner on the floor? Or are the walls bare could they use a fountain?

Once you have decided where to place your fountain, you are ready to start shopping. Your first idea may be to go to a warehouse, but consider shopping online as well. After all, a warehouse has limited stores and there may be extra costs due to the expenses of keeping up a shop and paying floor employees. There are many companies online that offer great deals and even free shipping, and you’ll have much more from which to choose.

People who own large offices may even wish to bring more than one fountain into the office area. This will completely revitalize your office and give it a whole new feel. Indoor water fountains act as a catalyst for creating peace, energy, calm, and quiet. When choosing your new fountain, you may wish to ask other workers, or you may do it all on your own. You can even purchase a custom-made fountain with your company logo on it. These are great for waiting rooms and lobby’s, where clients tend to experience anxiety. When choosing a fountain, take your time to choose one you’re sure you’ll be happy with.

Water fountains can accomplish multiple tasks in the office. Not only do they reduce stress and quiet the room, they also release negative ions into the air. Negative ions act as natural air purifiers, removing allergens and toxins from the air we breathe. Plus, water fountains are beautiful to look at and create a pleasing aesthetic. Those who follow the principles of feng shui may also experience the benefits of water fountains. In general, indoor water fountains help those in the office to improve their focus.

Indoor water fountains have become hugely popular in recent years, and more and more professionals are buying them for their offices. If you think your office could use some peace and quiet, why not try out an indoor water fountain or two? You can begin your search online. Choose a fountain that suits your tastes and your needs, and then enjoy it for many years to come!

This may surprise you but certain housekeeping activities can soothe the frayed nerves of a tired soul. Clean your house using all naturally made products.

When we hear the word ‘chemical’, probably the first thing that comes to mind is the words toxic, deadly, poisonous, and unhealthy. So why do we use chemical-based Cleaning products when we can create them on our own using inexpensive, readily available and easy to prepare natural cleaners?

While we cannot do anything more with the effects chemicals have done for years already, you can start from your home and make a difference in, well, first, with your family.

When we probably think that checking labels in the supermarket about the ingredients and other information about the product is already enough, we can expand our options and create our own from our home. It is important that you know how valuable this is on a global scale, that we can help save or at least minimize the effects of chemicals in cleaning compared to natural items. When we have this mindset, it is easier to take out our old habits and try something new. Well, actually, the concept of natural cleaning products is not new anymore – they have been around for quite some time. Before the Second World War, people around the world have always relied to coconuts as their base for cleaners a very simple and natural source. Due to the economic and political impacts of the war, the business economy and industrialists have shifted to the use of crude and oil-based products, including household cleaners. While they may have become effective, and also because of the aid of marketing efforts, they have been a regular staple in households who have forgotten to switch back to natural.

When you have these items listed below, you can try to switch back to natural cleaning products using items which we even eat therefore these items, which are safe when working with our digestive system, can also prove to be gentle with our household items.

The basic ingredients are:

Vegetable oil, vinegar, washing soda, baking soda, borax, cornstarch, lemon juice, vegetable-oil based soap, mineral oil and olive oil.

More than half of toxic chemical based cleaners available in stores can be prepared at home using natural ingredients. Consider this in your household expenses and it is very easy to recognize that you can indeed save a lot in your weekly budget by opting to use alternative, natural cleaners that are as effective and safer even.

I cannot emphasize more on the benefits of switching back to natural cleaning products. While it is easy to note that chemical based cleaners may be effective, what is also equally important to know are the effects this has in our environment. While it may not be too late, we can act on it already by using natural based products.

These basic ingredients works well as a substitute for chemical based cleaning products. You can find recipes on the internet on how to use them. Recipes are usually a combination of two or three items listed above.

You can clean almost every major area in your home and even your furniture and household items using recipes that are easy, and fun to use.

When you’re first learning how to cook with a crock pot, you may find the size you receive or first purchase to be overwhelming because it’s usually the biggest, or one of the biggest, on the market. But crock pots come in a variety of sizes to meet your needs, whether they be cooking for yourself, you and your spouse, your small family or everyone in your extended family. Let’s go over the different sizes of crock pots available on the market and the best way to use each size. The first thing you should know about crock pot sizes is that they are traditionally measured in quarts. This can be confusing for someone who isn’t quite ready to start understanding the conversion of measurements. But never fear. The packaging will typically tell you the basic number of people you can cook for and it will be accompanied by a photograph that should give you a pretty good idea what you’re about to purchase. But if you need a little extra help determining the size of crock pot you need for every occasion and every change you’ll go through in life, take a look at this list and choose the crock pot or crock pots that fit your needs, and remember, it’s okay to need or want more than one.
Crock pots range in size from as little 16 oz. to as big as 10 quarts and even bigger, although you will probably never need anything much bigger than 8.5 quarts, unless you have an extremely large family. Some brands, like Rival, switch to electric roasters once you get higher than 10 quarts and those can get up to 18 quarts or higher. That’s big enough to cook a whole chicken! But let’s not get carried away.

16 oz. slow cookers- The 16oz. crock pot is cute and little, and when we say little, we mean…tiny. 16 oz is the equivalent of 2 cups. If you don’t know what it means to have 2 cups of something, well, let’s just say it’s the equivalent of 4 sticks of margarine or 2 rectangles of cream cheese (regular size, not individual). This is especially great for people who are having a small get together and don’t have a fondue pot or if you want to throw together a quick dip that needs to stay warm. You can just take your slow cooker recipes for cheese dip, put it on high until everything melts together, then set it to warm to keep it from getting cold and coagulated. In case you find the need to know the size of this crock pot in quarts, it is the equivalent of ½ of a quart. The 16 oz. slow cooker is capable of cooking dips as mentioned before as well as fondue and other small, light and yummy crock pot desserts.

2-3 quart slow cookers- 2 quart slow cookers are ideal for 1 to 2 people, whereas 2.5 and 3 quart slow cookers are better for 2 to 3 people. Again, if you’re unfamiliar with measurements, we’ll go over the size of these three slow cookers in terms of cups. If you’re looking at using a 2 quart crock pot, then you’ll want to know that it is 4 times the size of the 16 oz. crock pot. This means that the 2 quart crock pot is the equivalent of 8 cups instead of two, 16 sticks of margarine and 8 rectangles of cream cheese. The 2.5 quart slow cooker is 2 quarts and 16 oz, the equivalent of 8 cups. The 3 quart crock pot is the equivalent of 12 cups.

4 quart slow cookers- When you’re looking to feed a small family of 3 to 4 people, you’re ready for a 4 quart slow cooker and if you want just a little bit extra left over, shoot for a 4.5 quart slow cooker. A 4 quart slow cooker is the equivalent 16 cups and a 4.5 quart slow cooker is the equivalent of 18 cups.

5 quart slow cookers- Slow cookers generally go up on an even basis from size to size so it’s no surprise that the 5 quart slow cooker is ideal for 4 to 5 people and is the equivalent of 20 cups. And if you’re looking for just a little more at 22 cups, choose a 5.5 quart.

6 quart slow cookers- 6 quart slow cookers push the envelope for a nice, intimate dinner and are ideal for serving anywhere from 5 to 6 people and is the equivalent of 24 cups. If you have a couple of big eaters, never fear, because the 6 quart slow cooker also goes up to the half-size at 6.5 quarts and has 26 cups per dinner. A 6 quart slow cooker is capable of cooking a good sized crock pot pot roast with the trimmings.

7 quart slow cookers- When you reach the 7 quart range, you’re past intimate dinners and into the range of the big family meal. A 7 quart slow cooker can cook for 6 to 7 people and is the equivalent of 28 cups. And if you really want to hit 30 cups of food mark tonight, you can choose the 7.5 quart slow cooker.

8 quart slow cookers- Last but not least, we’ll review the 8 quart slow cooker. Coming in at 32 cups cooking capacity, the 8 quart slow cooker can serve 7 to 8 people comfortably or you can tell your guests to wear their fat pants and choose the 8.5 quart slow cooker, capable of cooking up to 34 cups of food. Both the 7 quart and the 8 quart are perfect for those easy crock pot chicken recipes that require a larger amount of food.
Remember, it’s always easier to purchase a second, larger crock pot than it is to figure out how to use one that’s just too large for the meals you are cooking.
